Casual coaches, guides and instructors needed for Canoeing Victoria Programs

PaddlePower –
Paddlepower is an exciting scheme that has been designed to meet the needs of young people. It’s colourful and youth centred approach aims to:
Encourage more young people to come into and stay in the sport
Provide progression and reward achievement in a wide range of topics
Shows participants all aspects of the sport – both competitive and adventurous
Provide signposts into Clubs where their skills and development can be nurtured
Provide a flexible structure for delivery according to venue/situation
The scheme comprises 5 Awards to support a young paddler’s introduction and progress in Paddlesport.
Westerfolds Park Templestowe, Lillydale Lake Lilydale, Essendon and Fairfield
Hours- Approx 3.5 hours for one session

Paddlehub is a location based paddle centre where lots of different paddling programs are run for the local community.
The Canoeing Victoria PaddleHub conducts casual “drop-in” style paddling sessions where families can book in advance or sign up on the day. Designed to offer something for everyone, PaddleHub is a great way to get the family out and active.
Opportunities for coaches in training to assist and build up their hours required to obtain their coaching qualification.
Opportunities for administrative staff to work off water at PaddleHub helping with paperwork, gearing up participants and advertising Canoeing Victoria events.
Lillydale Lake Lilydale, Shepparton and Yarrawonga
Hours – Approx 6 – 8 hours

Schools Programs incl Paddling activities and River Trips
Flatwater guides and White Water guides are needed for flatwater paddling activities and river trips across Victoria for schools and group outings.
Venues : Westerfolds Park Templestowe, Warrandyte, Homestead Road
Hours – 5 to 8 hours

*Please note that having the ability to tow a trailer will be an advantage for these positions
