Ladies who are new to the wide world of paddling?

Paddle Victoria are hosting a River Ramble – Womens Social Paddling at Lilydale Lake, Lillydale on the 31st of March. We are holding two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both are fun paddles full of games, a bit of high intensity exercise in the boat and cruisy chats with a delicious afternoon tea provided afterwards. Fairfield Canoe Club are hositng a come and try flatwater canoe and kayak, or have a go at Wild-Water and/or Canoe-Polo paddle style, for those who are interested. Whether you’re new to paddling, or you’ve had a go before, are a post-beginner, or even a regular paddler, you’ll feel welcome.

Feel free to invite a friend or family member along with you. This is a fun opportunity to give paddling a go. We’re celebrating women getting and being active, regardless of background, ability, age or body shape.

Where: Fairfield Canoe Club @ 9 The Esplanade, Fairfield, on the Yarra River (please note: we are not the same as the Fairfield Park Boathouse! We are in Fairfield, not in Clifton Hill. (Maybe tricky to find FCC on your first visit)

When: Saturday 23rd March, 2019

Time: 1pm – 2.30pm

All equipment provided. Open to all women and girls 12yrs+. Event conducted by qualified coaches and volunteers.
