Ramon Anderson is the Head Coach and Sprint Head Coach of WA Institute of Sport.
He is an Australian sprint and marathon paddler who competed in the 1990s.
Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in K4-1000 m event at Barcelona in 1992.
Also won a silver medal in the K4 10000 m event at the 1991 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Paris.
He has been coaching Australia’s best canoe athletes just to mention Jesse Philips, Steve Bird Alana Nicholls and many more talented athletes.
He recently returned coaching from the 2019 Asia Pacific Cup, where the young Australian team dominated the field and defended their trophy.
