Sun 17 Nov: Victorian DR Sprint Championship Moved to Wittons Reserve

Sun 17 Nov: Victorian WW/Downriver Sprint Championship has been relocated to the Yarra River at the S-Bend rapid above Wittons Reserve Wonga Park.
River levels on the Goulburn are very low (1200 cumecs) and not much good for the event. Conversely the levels are good on the Yarra River.Current level is 1.2m on the Warrandyte guage. Levels can be viewed using link below.

Spectators can walk from the Wittons Reserve car park. The finish is just below the S-bend rapid on the river corner shown by the finish arrow. The start is upstream about 300m and can be reached going up the walking track and then down to the river. A ribbon/sign will be posted on Saturday to indicate an easy way to the start. Stronger paddlers can paddle up the rapid.
