The VSTC are pleased to announce Yarra Series 2 will be held at Warrandyte Bridge, Warrandyte. Our first beginners’ race was a big success and we will continue to run a beginners’ race before the first run of each main Yarra Series race. There is no charge for the beginners’ race and a free BBQ sausage is included at the end of the race.
Late registrations and additions on the day are difficult, so please nominate each class you wish to participate in and advise compiling on the day if you wish to withdraw from any class. This allows us to better organise the time allowed in the program, particularly for C2 boat sharing.

Saturday 15th May
- 3.00pm Help needed! Course set up at Warrandyte Bridge
- 4:00pm Free Practice – Clubs/Individuals to provide own safety
Sunday 16th May
- 8.00am – Course Closed
- 8.30am – Bib number collection
- 9.00am – Briefing for competitors, parents, judges, volunteers
- 9.15am – Beginners’ runs
- 10.00am -Start of first runs
- Conclusion of first runs
- Approx. 15min – Break
- Start of second runs
- Conclusion of second runs
- Course dismantling, pack up & presentation
Classes available are Mens Kayak (MK1), Womens Kayak (WK1), Mens Canoe (MC1), Womens Canoe (WC1) & C2 classes.
Age categories are calculated automatically. Results are based on the best of 2 runs. **Please advise prior to the day, if you need to complete both runs in the same session by emailing: vicslalomtechcommittee@gmail.com.**
Registrations for the Beginners’ race can be made using Beginners YS2. If you have difficulty with the link use: https://vic.paddle.org.au/2021-beginners-race-ys2/. There is no charge for entry into this race.
Registrations for the main race can be made using YS2 Rego. If you have difficulty with the link use https://vic.paddle.org.au/yarra-series-2/.
Entry Fee for the Main Yarra Series 2 Race $20 ($25 if non-member of Paddle Australia) – all entry fees are to be paid online via Trybooking Yarra Series 2 Payment. New paddlers in the main race, who are not members of PA, must complete an insurance form before they compete. Online entries close 5pm Thursday 13th May (entry on the day, only if space available, will be $25).
