Selection was based on each paddler’s performance at the 2022 Victorian Canoe Marathon Championships held at Geelong on 26th and 27th February, according to the 2022 Paddle Victoria Marathon Team Selection Policy. Paddlers in doubles events were selected on an individual basis (hence a paddler may qualify for team selection for doubles even if their partner did not qualify). New team members will be presented with an individually numbered Victorian Marathon Team cap at the Australian Championships.
Please note that all Victorian paddlers are able to participate in the 2022 Paddle Australian Canoe Marathon Championships. The event will be held at Lake Coomera on the Gold Coast from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th April 2022. We encourage you to participate and the PV Marathon Committee has arranged boat transport to assist you attend the event. All PV paddlers who attend will receive a complimentary PV Marathon long sleeved tee shirt so that Paddle Victoria will have a strong team presence at the event.
