Paddle Victoria formed in 1930 as the Victorian Canoe Association Inc. and was incorporated in 1984. We are the recognised peak body in Victoria for paddling. We are affiliated with Paddle Australia, and through Paddle Australia, with the International Canoe Federation.
Paddle Victoria are committed to providing our members and Victorians with a wide range of opportunities to safely participate paddling by offering services in four key areas of paddling – Competition, Recreation, Education and Experiences.
Paddle Victoria’s competition services are coordinated through five discipline based technical committees that reporting directly to the Paddle Victoria Board – Marathon, Polo, Slalom, Sprint, Wildwater, ,and an ocean racing committee is being initiated. Insert something about partnering with clubs to deliver a comprehensive calendar of competitive events that runs through the year.
Paddle Victoria has around 2,000 members who join through thirty two affiliated paddling Clubs located across Victoria. Additionally, it is estimated that more than 35,000 people participate in the paddling within Victoria.
