History – Paddle Victoria

The Victorian Canoe Association Inc., (Paddle Victoria) formed in 1930 and was incorporated in 1984. It is the State body responsible for the management, co-ordination, development and promotion of paddling in Victoria.  It represents the interests of its members, the public and the national body (Paddle Australia).

Paddle Victoria is committed to the provision of the highest standard of competition, safety, coaching, instruction, education and the creation of opportunities for participation.

Paddle Victoria is managed by Board of Directors consisting of Interested Directors (members) and Independent Directors (non members) and can have a number of technical and/or advisory committees as the Board sees fit.
