Bendigo Canoe Club Paddlers Gear Up For Massive Murray Paddle

A group of Bendigo paddlers are calling on members of the community to get involved with the YMCA Massive Murray Paddle in 2014. There have already been 24 paddlers from Bendigo register to compete but they are keen to see more paddlers get involved.

With the one, three or five day options to participate in the event, there is something for everyone. Tony Mission, along with Bendigo Canoe Club are willing to “provid[e] all the necessary equipment, safety gear, along with training and mentoring” for anybody who is keen to participate.

The 404km event will be held between November 24 and 28 and is a major fundraiser for the YMCA. To donate on behalf of Bendigo visit their pledge website, or visit the YMCA Massive Murray Paddle website.  Read more at the Bendigo Advertiser.
