Unfortunately the Big River remains low and the rainfall forecast suggests that won’t change. Combine this with the limited number of paddlers likely to attend, the VSTC have decided it is not worth running the race and it has been cancelled.
In its place, Melbourne Canoe Club are running a river trip on the Yarra River from Homestead Road to Whittons Reserve on the Sunday morning 17th of July. All paddlers are welcome. For further information please contact Leanne McLaughlan (melbournecanoeclubenquiries@gmail.com).
