Due to lower numbers within some clubs, we have decided to alter the way Wednesday nights will run to offer more opportunities for new players to get involved in the sport, yet still offer opportunities for social and intermediate level players. Wednesday nights will start of with a whicFOUR WEEK BEGINNER SEASONh will allow new players to sign up for a four week ‘come and try’ format STARTING JULY 6th and be introduced to the sport and learn the fundamental skills by weeks 3 and 4 to be playing round robin games. Cost for the come and try will be $120pp for all four weeks and include all equipment and insurance. (see facebook event for more information).
AFTER the conclusion of this we will run a 6 WEEK INTERMEDIATE COMPETITION which will cater for all social to intermediate players (including those that participated in the beginner season and would like to jump into the competition). This will START on the 3rd of August and on the 7th of CONCLUDE September. Team fees for the intermediate competition will be $800 per team and all players will be required to be members of Paddle Victoria, an associated canoe club, or a university outdoors club.
