Bendigo Academy of Sport
The Bendigo Academy of Sport Advanced Canoe Program announced full Scholarships for four athletes at the start of November. These athletes receive dedicated elite coaching, access to sports performance professionals such as sports nutritionists, sports physio and so on. Additionally, athletes are sponsored by paddlesports equipment manufacturers Liquidlife and Slipstream Paddles. Additional sponsorship is provided by Canoes Plus. Athletes in the program are Emily Fegan, Marta Ivkov, Heath Garvey and Harry Ward. A development program for younger/ additional athletes has been announced and expressions of interest should be directed towards info@dagger.com.au . The development program will receive some coaching and other advice, camps and sponsorship. The program will feed athletes into the BBAS advanced program and from there into the National Program
