There will be free morning tea after the event provided by the Bendigo paddlers and families.

This event is run on the same course as the first stage of the Goulburn Classic, Aust oldest canoe race which is conducted in November.

Bash Course Description: You enter the Goulburn River from the small reserve at Keresdale. There is a good stretch of water above the start line for participants to warm up. This section is graded as grade 1. The river speed and volume varies greatly depending on the volume of water released from the Eildon Pondage. The river is fast flowing water and willows trees over hang the river edge at numerous points. Paddle times will vary from 30 minutes to 45mins

At completion of the bash and morning tea the River Trip will commence.
