Great sportmanship shown at School Championships

Last weekend the schools marathon and sprint championships were held at Lillydale Lake. Superior paddling was showcased at the event with Australian representatives Bri Jones and Hannah Scott competing and many Victorian team members also competing.

Most importantly the school championships also showcased a lot of determination, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. With schools encouraging their own school teammates and also supporting other schools they were competing against.

One school in particular showcased great sportsmanship throughout the day and were awarded the perpetual Massive Murray Paddle award which was Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar School. The prize of the award is free entry for an 8 person schools relay team into this years Massive Murray Paddle.

Goodluck to Strathcona with their preparation for this years Massive Murray Paddle.
