Caution!!! Goulburn River – High River Levels and Paddling on Flooded Rivers

Paddle Victoria would like to issue a general safety warning out to all Paddlers, our Members and Clubs, about the current river levels and the rivers flowing above their usual levels.
All paddlers and non paddlers are to take additional care when on or around waterways in Victoria at the moment.

Safety Alert: Goulburn River hazardous conditions – downstream of Lake Eildon Pondage to Seymour

Warning to waterway users of hazardous conditions and debris at bridges across the Goulburn River between Eildon and Seymour that may restrict boating movement and potentially entangle boats or persons.

Paddle Victoria, recommend that all Discipline Committees and Clubs assess all events and programs prior to being run and complete a risk assessment before each outing/event
