Paddle Victoria Junior Ready-to-Race Clinics and VIC Short Course Championships 2-3 July

The Bendigo Sporting Festival 2nd and 3rd July 2022 will be a fantastic event and opportunities will include:

  • 4 coaching clinics from Australian Olympic and World Championship paddlers on flatwater paddling techniques (both marathon and sprint). This will include demonstrations indoors and on the lake.
  • 2 short course events for all Paddlers (opportunity to paddle a double kayak with an experienced paddler)
  • Bendigo Sporting Festival Official Welcome, Bendigo Stadium ( more details soon)
  • All junior participants will receive a PaddleVIC Marathon ready-to-race long sleeved t-shirt and race cap.
  • Free morning tea

This is a reminder that early bird entries for the Victorian Short Course Champs and race clinics to be held at Bendigo on 2nd/3rd July close next Saturday, 11th June.

Early bird entrants will each receive a Ready-to-Race shirt and Ready-to-Race cap at the event.

This is a great opportunity for your paddlers to learn from Australian Olympic and World Championship athletes; please encourage your keen paddlers and their parents to attend the weekend.

Please also let us know if there are ways we can help your paddlers to attend, such as facilitating boat transport.

You are very welcome to attend the clinics as well, so that you can assist your paddlers as they apply the knowledge gained to their training.
