SLALOM COACHING COURSE: SUBSIDY AVAILABLE

The VSTC are able to provide a number of paddlers with the opportunity to complete the Foundation Level (formerly Level 1) of the Coaching Course for a subsidized fee.  The course is a combination online work, in person training course, supervised practical experience and assessment.  The course cost is $190, the VSTC will provide a subsidy of $100 per paddler for completion of the course, thus reducing the cost to $90.  The opportunity is open to all Victorian paddlers with suitable slalom paddling experience.  The purpose of providing this opportunity is to encourage paddlers to diversify their skills and get involved with coaching and be able to help with ongoing programs.  There are limits to the number of subsidies available and how long this offer is open for.

The online component can be completed now.  The in person training course will be scheduled when restrictions allow.

Any paddler interested in participating should email the VSTC at vicslalomtechcommittee@gmail.com with contact details to register their interest.

If you have any questions, please contact Chris Runting 0429 130 739 or send an email to the above email address.
