Flatwater racing both sprint and marathon kayaking and ocean racing will be the kayaking/canoeing events on offer at the Australian masters games in Tasmania on October 21st to the 28th. Stand up paddle boarding and outrigger classes are included in the Canoe Sprint and Ocean racing events.
Flatwater canoeing is being held at the International Rowing Course at Lake Barrington and features a 200m, 1000m and 5000m sprint and a 15km marathon event.
The Ocean racing event will be a 16km race starting at Penguin or the Wynyard Yacht Club depending on the wind and finishing at the Burnie Surf Life Saving Club.
