Victorian Slalom Championships – Results

The Victorian Slalom Championships were successfully held on the weekend of the 26th and 27th November.

Saturday, in wet an challenging conditions, the teams events were held.  Some great paddling was seen with a water level of 3800ML/day.

Thankfully the weather was drier and brighter on Sunday, and a water level of 3000Ml/day provided ideal conditions for paddling.  The new format of heats (2 runs) and finals was well recieved and provided an opportunity for some younger paddlers to experience a final atmosphere against the states top paddlers.

Thanks to all paddlers, volunteers and parents for making the event successful and especially to Roy Farrance and Kate Slatter for their organisation and running of the race.
