Victorians Jaxon Merritt, Tim Anderson & Eliza Singleton through to Semifinals at ICF Canoe Slalom Junior/U23 World Champs

Victorians Jaxon Merritt and Tim Anderson from Melbourne Canoe Club both qualified yesterday for the K1 Men semifinals at the U23 World Championships in Penrith. Merritt showed some early form in the heats with the 3rd fastest first run and finally qualifying in 7th position for the semifinal, while Tim Anderson produced a strong second run in the heats to qualify in 15th place.

Fellow Victorian Eliza Singleton from Canoes Plus Racing Team is also through to the K1 Women semifinals in the Junior category after qualifying in 23rd position.
