YARRA SERIES SLALOM RACE 2: 30th April 2023

YARRA SERIES SLALOM RACE 2
Sunday 30th April 2023
Fitzsimons Lane Bridge, Templestowe

The event includes a beginner’s race along with the traditional Yarra Series Slalom.

Beginner’s Race

Novice paddlers are invited to participate in the Beginners Race. It is aimed at paddlers who are just starting kayaking and don’t feel they are ready for a full Yarra Series race yet.  The purpose of the race is to assist in developing skills and provide an introduction to racing.  If you are confident enough to paddle in the regular Yarra Series race, this is not for you, please enter the regular race. All paddlers will get two runs on a simplified course with timing and judging. There will be plenty of coaches and safety to ensure everyone has a great time.
