Paddle Victoria and Canoe Polo Victoria are excited to bring you a Canoe Polo Coaching Course.

Date:         Saturday 27th – Sunday 28th March – 9am – 5:00pm
Venue:       Westerfolds Park Templestowe

Pre requisites :

  • First Aid Certificate  – This can be completed at any stage before your receive your qualification.
  • Working with Children Check for those over 18  ( You will need to provide this)
  • Community Coaching Certificate – Satisfactory completion of the Australian Sports Commission’s Beginner Coaching General Principles course is also a pre-requisite.
    This can be done online (free) at : a. Register at: https://learning.ausport.gov.au/.  Once complete, please print out the Certificate and either email it to Roz Manester or bring it with you to the coaching course.

    • Play By the Rules – Child protection Module and Discrimination and Harassment Module. : Completion of the free online Play By The Rules Child Protection Course. Register at: https://learning.ausport.gov.au/
      Again, once complete, please print out the Certificate and either email it to Roz Manester or bring it with you to the coaching course.

Cost : The course component will be fully subsidized for Paddle Victoria members as part of the Covid-19 recovery strategy for our sport.  Non Paddle Victoria members are welcome to attend in person for $140 or the off water training components will be offered live on-line (via zoom) $75.  Please register as per the link below and you will be invoiced accordingly.

Each participant will be required to pay a $60 registration fee to Paddle Australia for a 3 year registration

All equipment will be supplied, or you can bring your own.

The course will consist of off water and on water practical coaching experience.
Day 2 will consist of an on water assessment.
