Paddle Australia Wildwater Canoeing Championships 21-22 August 2021
Paddle Australia, in conjunction with Paddle Victoria and the Victorian Wildwater Technical Committee welcomes all paddlers, officials and spectators to the 2021 Paddle Australia Wildwater Canoe Championships, to be held on the Big River. This event is only possible with the commitment of many volunteers and the cooperation of canoeing clubs, the Wildwater Technical Committee and the Murrindindi Shire Council. The organisers take this opportunity to thank those who support the event through sponsorship & by acting as officials, helping with course construction and pack up and administering the event.

The available classes are K1M, K1W, C1M, C1W, C2M and C2W. Paddlers can enter the National Wildwater Championship and/or the National Schools Championships or individually

Entry Fees:

Schools only– must be a current full time student, either secondary or primary (Not eligible for any places in Nationals Championships)

$50 for all events in one class, an additional class $10 extra  (Sprint, Classic and Teams)

$30 one class only, an additional class $10 extra   (Sprint or Classic)

Nationals only –  (Not eligible for any places in Schools Championships)

$50 for all events in one class, an additional class $10 extra  (Sprint, Classic and Teams)

$30 one class only, an additional class $10 extra   (Sprint or Classic)

Schools and Nationals

$90 for all events in both Championships in one class, an additional class $10 extra  (Sprint, Classic and Teams)

$30 one class only, an additional class $10 extra   (Sprint or Classic)

Teams Event only

$5

A $20 late fee applies after the closing date of 9pm, Wednesday 13th August.

The VWWTC reserves the right to refuse late entries and no entries will be accepted on the day of competition. You must be a member of Paddle Australia to enter this event. Please note you need to be a full time student, studying at either secondary or primary level to be able to participate in the National Schools Championships

Free Camping at Camp sites on the Big River, at Chaffeys Creek, Enocks Point, Big River Bridge and The Pines ( drop toilets only) – booking not required.
