Victorians take home the trophy at 2016 National Canoe Polo Championships

The 2016 National Canoe Polo Championships were held in early April at the Miami Aquatic Centre on the Gold Coast. The competition was tough this year, with every state taking home gold from at least one team category. The Victorians, however, earned the prestigious Australian Canoe Polo Championship Trophy, awarded to the state who performed the best across all categories. Medal winning teams were from the following categories:

Open – 3rd, Bronze (Victoria A)

Juniors – 3rd

Youth – 1st, Gold

Micro-Juniors – 2nd, Silver

Masters – 3rd
