Thanks to those competitors and officials who braved the cold and wet conditions with the Yarra Series 5 Slalom Race at Dights Falls. The river level was much higher than expected and the organisers made the difficult call to deter the younger paddlers from competing but we trust everyone understands that safety is paramount.
Particular recognition to Warwick Draper and Anton King for designing a challenging course and to the City of Yarra for their assistance and support.
