2021 Frank Harrison race river level – all okay at this stage

Actually, the Murray River level at Albury has dropped this week, rather than risen. This is because the river flow is largely controlled by discharge from the Hume Dam.

We expect, based on current forecasts of discharge levels from the Hume Dam published by the Murray Darling Basin Authority, that the river level will increase again over the next few days. On latest estimates we expect the river level for this year’s race to be similar to previous years. If the situation changes significantly we shall let you know.
