2022 PADDLE AUSTRALIA CANOE MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIPS

Let’s see how many Victorians we can get paddling at the 2022 Paddle Australia Canoe Marathon Championships.
The PV Marathon Committee will do what we can to assist paddlers participate in the event and keep you all updated.
The Coomera course has a long portage for the ICF classes with beach exit and entry, so paddlers need to start practicing now. The Murray River Classic race in Yarrawonga on the 10th April is an excellent lead up event, with lap racing and beach portages under pressure to test yourself.

When: Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th April 2022
Where: Coomera Lake, Gold Coast QLD

Boat transport
Loading: Monday 18 April 2022 at Essendon Canoe Club from 6am until 8am
Arrival at Nationals: Tuesday 19 April 2022 at Coomera Lake at approximately 5pm
Unloading: Tuesday 26 April 2022 at Essendon Canoe Club from 6pm
Cost: $85 return (or $50 one way if there are spare spots)
Includes: 1 boat + 1 paddle (or 2 paddles for doubles)
There is room for 12 boats on the trailer
