Come and Try Wildwater and Beginner Clinic
Paddle Victoria and Club Members only!
Venue : Westerfolds Park, Templestowe
Date : Saturday 16th December : 12:00 -2.30pm
This clinic and come and try is only suitable for those that already have whitewater paddling skills. You must be able to complete peel in and peel out ( eddy turns), ferry glides, leans and attainments in grade 2 whitewater. Having a competent roll is a bonus but not a must.
This clinic will be available for those that have never been in a Wildwater kayak before, and would like to try a new aspect of the sport, and the clinic will be available for those that are beginners and would like to improve their Wildwater skills on moving and grade I water. The session will be on-water and include technical skills such turning and leaning the boat, attainments, river reading.
The Clinic will be run by Dita Pahl CPRT ( Canoes Plus Racing team) and Warren Elms of the Paddle Victoria Wildwater Technical Committee. There is no cost for the event.
