ICF WORLD CANOE MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIPS – 2023
This year, all events will be live streamed, including masters’ racing.

That means that you can join in and watch the action starting today!

First up are the masters athletes, racing in singles on Monday and doubles Tuesday.

Race times for our masters paddlers are as follows:

Dominic Scarfe (INCC Yarra Paddlers) -Singles: Race 16 Mon 28/8. Start 7:05pm AEST (11:05 local time).

Open and Junior racing starts on Thursday, with junior girls being first cab off the rank.

Emma Murray (INCC Yarra Paddlers) races in the K1 Junior Women (Race 1) at 4:30pm AEST, Aug 31.

She will also take part in the K2 Junior Women event with Isabella Parish, (INCC Yarra Paddlers) starting  at 4:50pm AEST on Friday. This would be an extra good time to watch because Réka Abraham (INCC Yarra Paddlers)will also be out on the water, racing in the C1 Open Women event starting at 4:55pm – you can cheer everyone on at once!

We also have lots of other Aussies racing, with paddlers in most of the Junior and Open events and many of the Masters, so it’s worth tuning in whenever you get the chance.

Definitely don’t miss the Open Women’s K2 event on Sunday. Bec Mann (Mercantile and Goldfields)  and Hannah Scott (Mercantile) are looking to improve on their phenomenal effort last year when they placed 6th. They have been training hard over in Denmark so we can’t wait to see what they can achieve this year!
