What a great day of racing! The weather wasn’t too bad for a winter’s race and the water was fantastic; the best in ten years!
Thank you once again to all our wonderful volunteers – without you the race just would not happen. We ran on a skeleton crew of judges and safety (Ian Mc Cutchan, Eugene, Tim and Waz) was crucial for the success of the day.
Thanks also to Graham for doing all the compiling after the race in the comfort of his own home, enjoying a sip of wine by the fire.
To all our brave competitors, many of whom were paddling for the first time, congratulations on a wonderful effort!!
