With WA's Robin Bell setting the pace at Beijing on Tuesday night by taking out 3rd place in the C1 Slalom, Warwick Draper was under the pump as his blistering semi -final run positioned him in 2nd place heading into the Finals.
Second last down the course, he couldn't match the South African and German rivals and placed fifth overall. A fantastic effort and great excitment for all watching.
Congratuations to the Aussie Slalom team so far and we wish the remaining team members in the C2 and Womens K1 the best of luck.
