Wildwater Nationals All over for another year.

The Wildwater Nationals 2007 have now finished with the Open Mens and Womens being completed on the Mitta Mitta river this week.

The Eildon racing was close throughout the rapid sprints and classic with approx 30-40 paddlers competing on the low but paddlable Goulburn River.  After the searing heat and busy atmosphere of the Slalom championships, the Goulburn river returned to it's more serene environment and included a massive downpour during the rapid sprint competition.  It did beg the question, how much rain was required before the river was turned off completely!

Many thanks to all the helpers to ensure the racing was completed, particularly the National Wildwater Committee.
