Canoe Slalom Foundation Coaching Course will be run on Sunday 16th Oct 2022 at Westerfolds Park Templestowe
Foundation coach: (F2 – T1) Foundation coach works with paddlers who wish to gain an introduction to discipline specific skills. The Foundation coach is for coaches training paddlers for state level competitions.
Please register for the course and complete the online component:
Foundation Coach : Canoe Slalom
Start: 10:30am
Bring paddling gear for an on-water session at 2.30pm
Expect to be finished by 4:00pm depending on numbers.
Please bring snacks and lunch to keep you going through the day.
Pre-Requisites:
Completion of the Intro to Coaching Course
Pre requisite: Paddle Australia Introduction to Coaching course
Once complete, all participants will be required to pay $60 to Paddle Australia for a 3 year registration.
Course Cost:
$190.00 – Members – (includes online and face to face) plus $0 registration.
Registration of the Foundation qualification expires at the same time as the Introduction to Coaching.
$265.00 – Non Members – (includes online and face to face) plus $0 registration

Logbook
The following is to be submitted to the email address below:
Supporting letter from a club committee or state performance hub coach that supports the coach has coached a minimum of 8 training sessions as lead or assistant coach.
After registration, you will be taken to a landing page and receive an invoice via email for the program. Once paid you will be registered in the program.
Recommended:
- While a First Aid certificate is not required for registration, PA recommends that there is a responsible adult who holds a first aid qualification appropriate for the area of operation, along with a first aid kit for every program.
