Victorian Paddlers lead at Australian Marathon Team Selection

Congratulations to twelve Victorians selected in April to represent Australia at the World Marathon Championships in Oklahoma in September 2014!

The Australian National Canoeing Marathon Championships held in Ballarat saw an outstanding participation rate from Victoria, with Victorian paddlers making up just over half the numberof the total competitors.

Congratulations to Mick Leverett, Kate McGrath, Brea Roadley, Logan Dutton, Casey Haynes, Marlena Ahrens, Penny Young, Oliver James, Edward Lovick, Kayla Whinray and Alexander Neilson on their selection to the Australian team.

There were two Victorian paddlers who were selected to be part of the 2014 inaugural Canoe Marathon Emerging Team. Congratulations to Christopher Grundy and Andrew Holloway for being selected into this team following some great racing over the weekend.
