Victorians at Australian National Downriver Championship – Mersey River Tasmania
10 victorians went over to the National downriver championship held on the Mersey River from 10th to 13th October and had a ball enjoying the good quality water. First timers included Dita Pahl, Kate Poulier, Georgia Tonkin, Shayannah Beck, Lauchie Bassett , James O’Donoghue-Hayes and Corey Beck. Hardened campaigners included Kristy Packham, Mathew French and Chris Wharton.
All the newcomers improved their times over the period and there were a stack of podium finishes. The picture on the left was taken at the Arm River Camp were the presentations were held and show from left to right back row James, Kristy and Lauchie. Front Corey, Shayanah, Kate Chris and Georgia. Missing were Dita and Mathew.
